The main visual design for the 2017 Double Ten National Day Celebration was the result of inspiration from tradition Taiwanese weaving techniques. The three colors, red, blue and green, of traditional Taiwanese shopping bags were adopted to represent the solidarity of Taiwanese people of different ethnic backgrounds and also to serve as a symbol of continuity between different generations working together to weave out a better future for Taiwan.
